Badal Shah

Co-founder

Badal Shah is a multiple-exit entrepreneur with experience across industries from chemical manufacturing and distribution, real estate software, and healthcare technology. Badal holds a B.S. in Business Informatics from Indiana University, Bloomington and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He also serves on the Board of Directors of The Federal Savings Bank and Cabrera Capital Holdings. Badal is an active angel investor, having invested in more than 37 start-ups globally. He is married to his childhood sweetheart where they live in Chicago with their two inspiring children. In addition to his family, Badal takes inspiration from Walt Disney and lives by the words, "I hope we don't lose sight of one thing - it was all started by a mouse."

John Guidos

Co-founder

John Guidos is the Chief Operating Officer at Established, a consultancy focused on helping organizations with their innovation, startup, and communication strategies. He is also a Managing Member of Established Ventures, which was created to provide resources for companies to grow and prosper, all while promoting diversity and striving to reach the goals of the investment group.

Prior to his work at Established, John was the Chief Operating Officer at The Anthos Group, which is composed of world-class scientists, innovators, farmers, clinicians, and investors that are focused on empowering science-driven breakthroughs through innovative agricultural technologies.

John was formerly the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of TurboAppeal, Inc. In early 2015, John and his co-founders formed TurboAppeal with the objective to provide a big-data and machine learning resource to all homeowners in an effort to efficiently ensure that all customers only pay their fair share of property taxes. In May 2017, TurboAppeal was acquired by Paradigm Tax Group.

John is also a licensed attorney in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, having obtained his Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law in 2005. While attending law school, he was a member of the Business Law Society and the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. He also attended Purdue University for his undergraduate studies and graduated in 2002.

In addition to John’s professional endeavors, he also has a passion for helping fellow community members and volunteers with a variety of philanthropic organizations. In the past, he has served as an Attorney at the Willow Creek Legal Aid Clinic and as a Board Member of the McHenry County Regional Board of School Trustees.
