The Lofty Ventures team is working to activate more early-stage angel investors by providing educational programming, community-building events and access to exclusive investment opportunities. We believe that our ecosystem is stronger via collective impact and that starts with enabling more angel investors to support early-stage founders. Through our Lofty Lunch & Learn sessions with renowned thought leaders, curated deal flow and opportunities to build relationships with fellow angels and VCs, we continue to grow the ways in which you can both grow as an angel investor, while also becoming involved with the broader Lofty community. Accredited investors are defined as anyone who meets at least one of the following metrics:
• Earned income that exceeded $200,000 (or $300,000 together with a spouse or spousal equivalent) in each of the prior two years.
• Or has a net worth over $1 million, either alone or together with a spouse or spousal equivalent (excluding the value of the person’s primary residence)
• Or holds in good standing a Series 7, 65 or 82 license (Note, non-accredited investors can still attend our angel seminars)
We are passionate about helping activate angel investors all over the world, but it helps us to know where you are from so we can plan our programming better.
Key:
Never invested before: I am brand new and am curious about learning and maybe dipping my toes in.
Beginner: I am just starting my angel journey but may have already made a few investments.
Intermediate: I am not new to the angel space but am still looking to level up and want a community of peers.
Expert: I angel invest often and/or for a while and want new perspectives/opportunities/deal-flow.
